Sahid MI Engineering was founded in the Somali Region of Ethiopia by engineers who knew the trucks of the Horn of Africa first-hand — what they're asked to carry, the surfaces they travel and the distances between fuel stops.
What began as a small assembly and parts operation has grown, over more than 15 years, into a full heavy-vehicle manufacturer serving fleet operators, distributors and contractors across the country.

Today we operate from a facility in Jigjiga that handles heavy-truck assembly, fuel and water tanker manufacturing, trailer fabrication, full-truck updates and a stocked parts inventory.
Over 500 vehicles have been delivered from our floor — trucks running fuel routes, distributing water, hauling cargo and supporting construction projects across Ethiopia.
Our team blends mechanical engineers, body fabricators, electrical technicians and a sourcing arm that keeps lead times realistic.
